Meet Corrina
Shwmae! I’m Corrina. I’ve always been the organiser in my friendship group. The one planning the birthdays, making the quiz, creating the printables and adding those little details that nobody technically needs, but I’m going to do them anyway.
Over the years, that has meant everything from baby showers and milestone birthdays to girls’ weekends, weddings and craft days. Give me a person, a reason to celebrate and a few things they love, and my brain immediately starts putting something together.
That’s really where Teacups & Glitter came from. It’s a place for all the ideas I’ve actually planned, made, tried or spent far too much time thinking about.
Beyond the Blog
By day, I work in Welsh tourism, helping people discover places to visit, stay and explore across Wales. Away from work, I’m usually planning something, making something, or going somewhere with the people I love.
I’m very girly. Give me pink, hearts, flowers and anything slightly whimsical and I’m happy. But I’m also quite geeky. I love Friends, 90s R&B and picking apart films and books for symbolism, hidden details and Easter eggs. Basically, anything that gives me an excuse to disappear down a rabbit hole.
I’m also a long time line dancer. I’ve been boot scootin’ on and off since I was 17, which probably explains why cowgirl themes, country playlists and line dancing have a habit of turning up around here.
What You’ll Find Here
A lot of what ends up on Teacups & Glitter starts with something I genuinely love or something I’m doing in real life. If I’m actually a fan of something, trust me, the post will get extra attention.
My Friends obsession is probably the best example. I have the LEGO sets, original 90s and early 2000s merchandise, puzzles, games, an NBC Smelly Cat plush and, obviously, my own Hugsy. So when I write about Friends, I’m not choosing a popular theme because Pinterest says I should. I’m already very much invested.
Quality Over Quantity
I don’t post every week, and honestly, I probably never will.
I’m far more likely to disappear into Canva making six printables, spend far too long perfecting a playlist or decide that one tiny detail needs its own tutorial before I’m happy to publish the main post.
I’d rather take my time and share something properly than put out another post simply because the internet thinks I should.

I’d be a pastel brunch with plenty of pink, handwritten place names,
cute cupcakes, a few thoughtful personalised touches
and a playlist full of 90s throwbacks.

Home: South Wales, UK.
Family: Married to Ola, my biggest supporter and occasional DIY assistant.
Pets: Smudge, our calico cat and self appointed ruler of the household.
Work: Welsh tourism by day, party planning by night.
Current long term project: My wardrobe time capsule. I’m keeping my favourite outfits I’ve worn for special occasions, going right back to the Y2K years in the hope that 90 year old me gets one seriously nostalgic fashion trip.
Guilty pleasures: Galaxy chocolate, MAFS and a morning dose of Jeremy Vine.
