Planning a baby shower and want to send guests home with something sweet (besides cake crumbs in their handbags)? Let’s talk party favours, the kind that are adorable, affordable, and full of cariad (that’s Welsh for love), even if you’re not a Pinterest wizard.

The Idea: Pink Themed Baby Shower Favour
Whether you’re celebrating a baby girl or just love a good pink moment, these favours are a fab way to add a personal touch to your party. Think soft pastels, cute packaging, and a gorgeous scent, because why not?

I used these for the rose garden baby shower I hosted for my lovely friend, Rachel. I wanted something thoughtful that tied in with the rustic theme, and these heart-shaped candle holders were just the thing to thank guests for coming. 💐
Want to see how it all came together? You can check out the full party right here, it’s full of charming details and plenty of party inspo!

What you’ll Need
- Heart-shaped driftwood tealight holders: I found mine at The Range
- Pink rose-scented tealights: budget-friendly and beautifully scented, from Primark
- Cellophane wrap: to give them that polished, gift-ready look
- Pastel pink ribbon: for tying it all together (literally), from Hobbycraft
These pretty little favours cost around £1.70 each, making them a gorgeous and affordable way to thank your guests.

How to Make Them
- Place a tealight into each heart-shaped driftwood holder. I used pink rose-scented ones for that extra touch of charm.
- Wrap each candle holder in clear cellophane to keep it neat and gift-ready.
- Tie it up with a pastel pink ribbon; simple, sweet, and oh so pretty.
- Place one at each guest’s place setting so they’re greeted with a little gift as soon as they sit down. It’s a lovely way to make everyone feel special from the start.

A Poetic Touch
To make the table extra special, I framed a sweet little poem and placed it in the centre as part of the décor. It tied in beautifully with the candle favours and added a sentimental moment for guests to enjoy.

Here’s the poem I used:
Here is a candle that twinkles so bright,
It’s our gift for you to light,
On the day our star makes her way,
Please make a wish on our joyous day.
If you’d prefer to keep things simple, you can also attach this poem as a tag on each favour instead. I’ve created a free downloadable template you can print and use, just cut them out and tie them on with ribbon!

Why Guests Love Them
- They’re thoughtful, practical, and guaranteed to make your guests feel hapus (happy) and appreciated
- They double as décor and a keepsake
- They smell amazing and feel like a mini spa moment
- They show you’ve put care into every detail, without going over budget

Corrina’s Top Tip
If you’re hosting a gender neutral or eco-friendly shower, just swap the pink for another colour or use biodegradable packaging. Same charm, less waste!
