Are you struggling to find an affordable baby shower favour that your guests would love to take home? If you are looking for a gift to give your guests to thank them for coming; then these driftwood tealights are perfect as a party favour.

I (with the help of some friends) hosted a rose garden baby shower at Llwyn Country House and decided upon these rustic tealights as a special way to thank guests for coming. They cost around £1.70 each to put together.
I purchased the heart shaped driftwood candle holders from The Range which I found in the wedding section. I purchased a pack of rose scented tealights from Primark, and wrapped them in cellophane tied with baby pink curling ribbon. The great thing is this idea could easily be changed to suit any colour theme.

I placed the party favours on each table setting. The pretty gift sat perfectly amongst the pink baby shower décor.

In the centre of the table I placed a framed poem for all guests to read:

Here is a candle that twinkles so bright,
It’s our gift for you to light,
On the day our star makes her way,
Please make a wish on our joyous day

The poem asked guests to light their candle and make a wish on the day of the baby’s arrival.
I think it would have been better to attach personalised tags to each favour with the poem on, but I’m still really happy with how they were presented.

I think the poem is a really special way of involving everybody when the baby arrives and each guest gets to enjoy the floral smelling candle.
