How to Throw a Friends Themed Party in 8 Easy Steps

Friends themed thanksgiving party

If like me, you missed Friendsfest this year because of lock-down, you’ll be happy to know that it returns next summer for a tour of the UK; I’ve got my tickets already!

If you can’t wait until then, you can always throw an amazing Friends themed party yourself. Get your gang together, get your mis-matching coffee mugs out and reminisce over all 236 episodes of one of the best comedy shows ever!

Whether you are hosting a baby shower, birthday party, wedding, bridal shower, hen party or just because… the theme CAN work! Here are 8 easy steps on how to throw a Friends themed party that Monica would approve of.

We’re supposed to start having fun in 15 minutes!

1. Dress Code

So you’ve invited your guests and told them where and when the party is. You could have some real fun and make sure there’s a strict dress code policy. You have ten seasons of outfit choices to choose from:

Chandler

  • Pink bunny
  • In a box
  • Santa Clause
  • College look – guitar top, blazer and hair horns

Joey

  • Porsche owner
  • Wearing Chandler’s clothes
  • Black leather jacket
  • Superman
  • Dr Drake Ramoray
  • Vegas Gladiator

Monica

  • Barbados (ping pong paddle, basketball cap, fuzzy hair)
  • 1950s diner girl
  • Catwoman
  • Red school prom dress (fat suit)

Phoebe

  • Supergirl
  • Boho style with guitar
  • Pregnant with triplets
  • Pink bicycle with flower basket, tassles and matching safety helmet
  • Bright orange furry coat

Rachel

  • Cheerleader
  • Princess Leia
  • Waitress with short skirt and apron
  • Blue school prom dress

Ross

  • Red jumper
  • Two name tags
  • The Holiday Armadillo
  • Frankie Says Relax t shirt
  • Leather trousers
  • Spud-Nik
  • College look – curly hair and moustache

A group of three friends can dress up in wedding dresses, or if you are looking for a couple outfit then Rachel and Ross as Vegas newlyweds is a worthy choice. You can even move away from the six main characters and dress as Estelle, Gunther or Janice.

I really like these ideas and think most people will ‘get’ them as most of the outfits are referred to as part of a story line. However, I do think there is something special about interpreting a subtle outfit that only a real fan would get!

I came across a blog called ‘AveWill’ and think she absolutely nailed Rachel’s everyday outfits! I would highly recommend visiting her blog post for some wardrobe inspiration.

If you want to pay attention to tiny details you can give everybody two name tags at your party; just like Dr Geller, sorry I mean Ross!

How about these for name tag ideas? Then, follow with your guest’s real name to help break the ice:

  • Crap Bag
  • Little Harmonica
  • Regina Phalange
  • Mr Heckles
  • LaPooh
  • Miss Chanandler Bong
  • Chloe the Copy-Girl
  • Princess Consuela Banana Hammock
  • Tag
  • Science Boy
  • Gladys / Glynnis
  • Ken Adams
  • Ugly Naked Guy
  • Mrs Whiskerson
  • Ursula

2. Decor

This is the part I love… detail, detail, detail. The time you spend on the tiny details is time well spent. Monica’s lavender apartment door with yellow framed spy hole should be the first thing your guests spot as they enter your party.

Most people replicate Monica’s apartment door and attach a framed spy hole. You can put your own twist on this by decorating something else other than a door; like this cushion above. Or you can parcel up all of the gifts in a lavender and yellow theme – check this idea out here.

I adore this beautiful New Jersey venue Aqua Blue Kitchen that a fellow Friends fan found when hosting her sisters Bridal Shower. She came across this room with a stunning light fixture which appeared to resemble Monica’s lavender door. Just Wow!

I’m not suggesting you go to this extreme level with your decor, but you can easily incorporate the colours; for example by dressing the party table with a lavender table cloth, coordinated dishes and napkins, and place a framed spy hole keyring or decorated cookie on top as a party favour.

If you are on a budget you can make your own Friends spy hole frame to display at your party – there are plenty of videos online but I personally like the end result of ‘Its Renee’s’ DIY tutorial:

Your party decor will look great if you use accessories to your advantage and immerse your guests into the show. Here are some prop ideas to consider:

  • Dinosaur bones and fossils
  • Boarding passes to London, Paris or Vegas
  • Giant poking device made out of chopsticks
  • Vegas chapel sign
  • Pat the dog
  • TV Guide (with Days of Our Lives on the front cover)
  • Hugsy the stuffed penguin
  • Science Boy comic book
  • New York memorabilia
  • Big Brown Bag
  • Phoebe’s guitar
  • Ross’ ‘freebie list’ – laminated of course
  • Magic 8 ball
  • The Shining book hidden in the freezer
  • Toy taxi cab
  • Marcel with a remote control

I loved how this couple used props to decorate their Friends themed wedding party. Accessories relating to each character were aptly displayed as some amazing table centrepieces. Have a look at their wedding photos here.

I have to mention the level of detail in this amazing slideshow from Melanie Baker. Melanie hosted a party at her home in Texas to celebrate her daughter’s 25th birthday which happened to coincide with Friends’ 25th Anniversary. Props have been cleverly placed around the home. For instance, the bathroom is full of references to the show; the tub has been filled up with bubbles, a toy ship can be seen floating and Enya can be heard playing in the background (video coming soon). They’ve labelled the guest towels and fancy towels and have even left lotion for y’know – those times when you need tto remove your leather trousers! Party goals!

However you decide to decorate your party; please frame some well-loved quotes from the show. This inexpensive detail will be worth it!

I recommend you tailor quotes according to your party theme. For example, if it’s a hen party, bridal shower or wedding then use romantic quotes. If it’s a festive gathering then use quotes from the Thanksgiving episodes. If your party is just for fun then here’s your chance to get creative!

Hen Party, Bridal Shower, Wedding Quotes

  • I have everything I’m ever going to need. You are my family (Phoebe)
  • It’s you and me, alright? This is it (Rachel)
  • He’s her lobster! (Phoebe)

  • It’s a four (Chandler)
  • I’ll be there for you (The Rembrandts)
  • I never thought I would be so lucky as to fall in love with my best friend (Monica)
  • It’s always been you (Ross)

Baby Shower Quotes

  • We only ordered one (Monica)

Dessert Table Quotes

  • I’m curvy and I like it (Joey)
  • That sandwich was the only good thing in my life (Ross)
  • Bagels and doughnuts. Round food for every mood (Chandler)
  • Joey doesn’t share food (Joey)
  • What’s not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good! (Joey)

  • It’s Thanksgiving. Not truth day (Ross)
  • Turkey makes me sleepy (Rachel)
  • Happy ‘Christmas Eve’ Eve (Phoebe)
  • These are my Thanksgiving pants (Joey)

Just For Fun Quotes

  • Welcome to the real world. It sucks – you’re gonna love it! (Monica)
  • Unagi (Ross)
  • Oh… my… god! (Janice)
  • Well, I guess I’m going to Yemen! I’m going to Yemen! (Chandler)
  • It’s a moo point (Joey)
  • Isn’t that just kick-you-in-the-crotch, spit-on-your-neck fantastic? (Rachel)
  • Smelly cat, smelly cat (Phoebe)
  • You don’t own a TV? What’s all your furniture pointed at? (Joey)
  • Pivot! (Ross)
  • I got off the plane (Rachel)
  • How you doin’? (Joey)
  • We were ON A BREAK!!! (Ross)
  • 7, 7, 7, 7, Seven (Monica)
  • They don’t know that we know they know we know (Phoebe)

If you don’t like any of these decor ideas then you can always organise a party like Phoebe and decorate the entire room with nothing but cups and ice. Cup hats, cup bunting, cup chandeliers. As for ice, bring a whole variety for everyone to enjoy; crushed, cubed and dry ice, as well as snow cones.

3. Focus Point

I have given some decoration ideas; by suggesting you add some well-placed props around your party. However, you should always have a focus point and it’s up to you what you want that to be.

You can create a big impact by focusing your design and styling efforts on just one space. It’s the thing that your guests will still talk about once it’s all over. Whether it’s a delicious dessert table, an incredible photo booth or a stunning backdrop – you want it to hold your guests attention.

Dessert table

You can have your cake and eat it too! A dessert table can add a sense of wow to even the simplest of cakes. You can add other desserts such as cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, macaroons, popcorn and sweets. Make your table interesting by using jars, cake stands and plates of different shapes and sizes and stand them at different heights.

I would suggest keeping your table symmetrical with the cake in the centre. Everything should visually flow with colour but your cake should most definitely be the focus.

As well as tasty desserts, you can decorate your table with umbrellas, flowers, balloons, and quotes from the show. Friends is all about the laughs so the primary colours are bright and bold, the font is fun and the props are silly. I would choose a subtle background that complements your theme; one that doesn’t distract the eye.

If you are wanting a more grown up, classy look to your dessert table, for example for a wedding – then minimise the primary colours and use them on maybe one or two things such as the cake and maybe an accessory or two such as a framed yellow spy hole. Here is a beautiful set up that hasn’t gone too over board with the theme but looks stunning with some subtle details.

Again, another subtle classy backdrop – but it gives off that essence of wow factor!

Photo booth

These days a photo booth is a must have. A party isn’t a party without one and can be a great focus point! You can have so much fun creating a set up and deciding on props.

The most recognisable photo booth for a Friends themed party is a sofa, lamp and a few umbrellas! This option isn’t for everyone as you may not have the outdoor space… or an orange sofa. I would recommend just using your own sofa if it’s a small gathering at your home – you can even purchase sofa slipcovers from Amazon!

However if it’s your wedding, I would go to more effort and search every charity shop and second hand online site until I found something that resembled the reserved sofa at Central Perk. You never know your luck, you may even get a freebie! Don’t forget the floor standing lamp and you can even add a coffee table if you have space. You can use this for props or to display a sign ‘the one where we got married’. Your guests will have a lot of fun re-enacting the opening credits!

If you are looking for a simpler photo booth then make your own backdrop and add selfie sticks and props.

I’ve had a quick brainstorm and all I can think of is the backdrop designs featured at Friendsfest, here’s a few examples, as well as a couple of my own:

  • NY city skyline
  • Central Perk logo with exposed brickwork
  • Vegas chapel
  • Prom: Class of 1988
  • Monica’s lavender and yellow door
  • Plain black background with Friends font

Be sure to include stuffed lobsters, the Rachel haircut wig, a chef hat, a TV show clapperboard, a wedding veil, leather trousers, a turkey hat with glasses, a plush monkey, colourful umbrellas, a cheerleader outfit, a Knicks basketball jersey and cap… you get the picture!

4. Drinks

You can’t host a party without drinks… and if you’re throwing a Friends themed party then you should let your guests live out their coffee filled dreams. What better way than to re-create the famous hangout? Re-create the Central Perk coffee shop complete with drinks station, chalk board menu, and of course, giant mis-matching coffee mugs.

If you’re the creative type, then you can paint the Central Perk logo onto a large glass frame to replicate the front window of the coffee shop. Sit it onto an easel and proudly display it.

If your guests enjoy a tipple, then you can serve wine. Add a bit of detail by hanging labels off the bottles with a note ‘from Paul the wine guy’.

5. Food

What with Monica being a chef and Joey’s appetite there are so many references to food throughout the show; so it’s really easy to plan a menu that’s fun and relevant. I have come up with three choices for a starter, main and dessert to help inspire your party menu.

Starter

Phoebe’s Hummus with Pita Chips

Who can forget the episode The One Where No One’s Ready where in fact, Phoebe arrives fully dressed and ready! Unfortunately, during Chandler and Joey’s argument, Joey accidentally flings hummus onto Phoebe’s dress which she later covers up with a ghastly Christmas ribbon.

Joey’s Mini Meatball Sandwiches

The episode The One With The Ride Along shows us how much Joey loves food. Whilst on a ride-along, Joey gets ‘the best sandwich in the world’ made with meatballs, melted cheese, and marinara sauce. During the ride the guys mistake a car backfire for a gunshot. Joey appears to dive saving Ross (which upsets Chandler) however he actually dives saving his meatball sandwich! Priorities!

For extra points, why not wrap up one of the sandwiches in foil and add Ross’ sticky note to it: ‘Knock-knock. Who’s there? Ross Geller’s lunch. Ross Geller’s lunch, who? Ross Geller’s lunch, please don’t take me. Ok?

Monica’s Dirty Salad

Monica discovers a salad can be sexual in the episode The One With The Prom Video. Monica goes into an interview for a Chef’s job, but things quickly heat up when the restaurant owner tells her he likes his lettuce dirty.

Main

Monica’s Dozen Lasagnas

Does anybody remember The One With The Dozen Lasagnas? After cooking a dozen lasagnas for her Aunt Sylvia, Monica is stuck with them as they were supposed to be vegetarian. Monica spends the whole episode desperately giving away a dozen lasagnas.

Chandler’s Mac and Cheese

There are a couple of episodes that reference Chandler’s fondness for mac and cheese. The main ones being in flashbacks where Ross brings Chandler, his college roommate home for Thanksgiving. Monica offers to make Chandler mac and cheese as he doesn’t eat Thanksgiving dinner. Chandler loves the dish and suggests she become a chef. And there her journey begins!

Joey’s Special

If you recall, Joey mentions this on the episode The One With Ross’ Wedding: Part 2 during a conversation with Phoebe as he’s in London feeling homesick. The Joey Special is referenced again in The One with Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. when Chandler forgets to pass on an important message about an audition… so he comes home with a peace offering.

Joey doesn’t share food!!!

Dessert

Rachel’s English Trifle

Rachel’s trifle is the star of the most hilarious Thanksgiving episode! The iconic episode The One Where Ross Got High focuses on Rachel creating the perfect Thanksgiving dessert. However two cookbook pages are stuck together so the whole gang are forced to eat a combination of trifle and shepherd’s pie which tastes like feet!

Chandler’s Stolen Cheesecake

The One With All The Cheesecakes is the episode where we see Chandler and Rachel develop a slight obsession for Mama’s Little Bakery cheesecake. They eat a cheesecake that was mistakenly delivered to the wrong apartment and it’s the best cheesecake they’ve ever tasted! Another cheesecake gets delivered and they try to resist temptation by delivering it to their neighbour. They later find the cheesecake untouched so they steal it. An argument breaks out which sees the stolen cheesecake being split in half. Rachel drops hers in the hallway, but as Chandler laughs at her misfortune she throws his to the floor resulting in both going as far as to eat it off the hallway carpet.

Phoebe’s Grandma’s Cookies

I can’t forget about those chocolate chip cookies in The One With Phoebe’s Cookies. Monica tries to figure out Phoebe’s Grandmothers secret cookie recipe. After baking many batches of cookies, Monica realises that the secret recipe may not be such a secret after all! Phoebe says that her Grandma got the recipe from her French friend ‘Neslé Toulousé’. Monica realises she probably got the recipe from a Nestlé Toll House cookie dough bag!

6. Music

Phoebe Karaoke

How about playing ‘Phoebe Karaoke’ at your party? Set up a mic, and print out Phoebe’s lyrics beforehand, click here for an in-depth list of her songs from the show. As well as Smelly Cat, here are three of my personal favourites:

No Power

New York City has no power,

And the milk is getting sour.

But to me it is not scary,

‘Cause I stay away from dairy.

LA la, la LA la, LA la…

The Cow in the Meadow

Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo,

Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo.

Then the farmer hits him on the head and grinds him up,

And that’s how we get hamburgers.

Now, chickens!

Chandler

The first time I met Chandler

I thought he was gay,

But here I am singing

On his wedding day.

If you don’t think you can get willing karaoke singers then you can set the scene by placing an acoustic guitar as a prop with a hand written note ‘back in 5 minutes’ as a nod to Phoebe’s iconic gigs at Central Perk. You can play this video of all of Phoebe’s songs in the background.

Playlist

If you are looking for inspiration for some background music then I’ve listed 15 songs you can include on your playlist:

  1. The Rembrandts – I’ll Be There For You (The original theme song)
  2. Carpenters – Top Of The World S1 E7 (Joey, Monica and Phoebe sing during a blackout whilst Ross fights with a cat)
  3. The Tokens – The Lion Sleeps Tonight S1 E18 (The song played non-stop by Ross’ monkey Marcel)
  4. Hootie & the Blowfish – I Go Blind S2 E5 (At the concert)
  5. U2 – With or Without You S2 E7 (Rachel and Ross kiss at the coffee shop)
  6. Eric Carmen – All By Myself S2 E17 (Chandler and Joey in their apartments missing each other)
  7. Nelly – Ride With Me S5 E22 (The policeman stops Rachel)
  8. Donna Summer – Love to Love You Baby S5 E23 (Rachel dances naked)
  9. Elvis Presley – Viva Las Vegas S5 E23 (Chandler and Monica see Rachel and Ross coming out of a Vegas chapel, married!)
  10. Loreta – Trouble With Boys S6 E10 (Monica and Ross dance to ‘The Routine’)
  11. Eric Clapton – Wonderful Tonight S6 E25 (Chandler and Monica dance after their engagement)
  12. Semisonic – Closing Time S8 E5 (The song plays at the end of the series when Rachel walks into the coffee shop)
  13. The Police – Roxanne S8 E10 (Phoebe sings to Ross the song of Sting by making a change to the lyrics)
  14. Sir Mix-a-Lot – Baby Got Back S9 E7 (Rachel and Ross sing to Emma to make her laugh)
  15. Cyndi Lauper – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun S10 (Montage of Phoebe, Monica and Rachel’s moments together)

7. Games and Activities

Games are always popular but you need to keep them simple and fun.

Whatever games and activities you decide upon, your guests should be competing for the Geller Cup. A trophy that Monica and Ross used to play for when they were children.

Here’s how you can make your very own Geller Cup:

  • Glue a 2 x 4 block of wood to half a coffee can
  • Fix a troll to the block of wood
  • Use a label maker to write names of past winners
  • Authenticate the look by dirtying the troll and wood with watered down acrylic paint (so it appears to have been rescued from a lake)

If you aren’t the creative type then I have seen them being sold on Etsy.

I have made a list of SEVEN!!! games and activities that you can play at your party to get your guests competing for the Geller Cup!

Cups

Chandler makes a new game up on the spot called ‘Cups’ in the episode The One On The Last Night invented for the purpose of giving Joey money to pay off his debts. The game has no rules – but every move Joey makes results in him winning money. Joey believes he’s lucky at the game, so he later challenges Ross but loses all of his winnings!

I found a blog online called Queen Of Theme Party Games who charge a very small fee for you to download some helpful Cups rule cards.

To play the game you will need a deck of regular cards, printable Cups rule cards (see link above), and play money. The dealer deals all players two playing cards. Next the dealer picks a Cups rule card off the top. Cups rule cards are in a stack facing down on the table. The dealer reads it aloud. The rule determines what hand wins. Here is an example of Cups rule cards:

Poker

This is a reference to the episode The One With All The Poker where the girls take on the guys in a game of poker. You can set up a simple poker table at your party. Just don’t throw away two Jacks because they look unhappy! You can go all out and add other casino style games such as black jack and roulette as a nod to the Vegas episodes.

Turkey Head Obstacle Course

Another game found on the Queen of Theme Party Games blog! This game seems pretty fun but I would only use if it was in keeping with the style of the party. I don’t think it would suit a formal occasion such as a wedding but it would be great fun at a birthday party.

Challenge your friends to a themed obstacle course. Put on a Thanksgiving turkey head complete with hat and glasses – and make it through an obstacle course as fast as possible. You can put your course together however you like but I would probably keep it short, about three or four obstacles to one race. Here are some obstacle ideas:

  • Put on all of Chandler’s clothes
  • Walk down the aisle
  • Make a poking device out of chopsticks
  • Pivot the couch
  • Line up stuffed animals by size (chick, duck, Pat the dog, Marcel the monkey, Hugsy the penguin, Smelly cat, lobster, Eddie’s goldfish)
  • Write down as many 50 states as you can in 3 minutes
  • Lobster crawl
  • Drink a gallon of milk in 10 seconds
  • Which cookie is a Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie?
  • Throw a ball in the air and catch it a certain amount of times without dropping it
  • Wind-up toy race
  • Put nappies on the triplets
  • Don’t spill the coffee
  • Finalise the course with a last question – What is Chandler Bing’s job?

Who Am I?

A great guessing game where your guests use yes or no questions to guess the identity of the Friends character you have labelled them with. Questions can be based on the characters physical looks (e.g. do I have a moustache?), the characters personality traits (e.g. am I spoilt?) or the characters lifestyle (e.g. do I have a child?)

I would suggest avoiding the six main characters as it will make the game too easy. You can make it interesting if you use secondary characters such as Ross’ ex-wife Carol, Sandy the male nanny or Dr Richard Burke. Take a look at my list of name tag ideas at the beginning of this post (under dress code) for some more inspiration.

The Routine

Who can forget the episode The One With The Routine where Monica and Ross repeat their dance routine from middle school? Wouldn’t it be amazing if a bride and groom danced ‘the routine’ for their first dance?

Alternatively, you can challenge your guests to recreate it – give them this ten-step guide to wow on the dance floor! Just make sure you film, just for the bloopers! 😉

Foosball

Do you remember when Chandler and Joey’s kitchen table broke? Rather than replace it with another, they purchased a foosball table instead! A few story lines involve the foosball table including the time we see Monica’s competitive streak, and when the chick and duck get stuck inside!

You can have a foosball tournament and bring some friendly competition to your party. It’s one of the easier games on this list and will look great as themed décor too.

It’s All Relative Game

I love a quiz as much as the next person, so thought it would be a fun link to include the famous trivia quiz that forced Monica and Rachel to give up their apartment in The One with The Embryos.

The epic trivia battle can be replicated at your party. Split your guests into two teams; girls and guys and see who knows who better!

Each team takes it in turn to answer ten yes or no questions about the opposite team. Just like the TV show, use the four categories: Fears & Pet Peeves, Ancient History, Literature, and It’s All Relative.

The great thing about this game is there’s no need to prepare guests beforehand. Answers are submitted simultaneously by each team who reveal the correct answer by placing a yes or no card face down.

The goal is to answer the most questions correctly about the opposite team and have the highest points total at the end of the game.

There is a lightning round where supposedly the gender divide matters. This round is designed so that the guys are asking the girls questions that are supposedly hard for the girls to answer but that the guys themselves should easily know the answer to, and vice versa.

Since writing this blog I have discovered that both Argos and Smyths Toys both stock Friends: The One with the Apartment Bet based on Ross’ actual game from the show! This is definitely going on my next shopping list.

8. Party Favours

I would pay attention to your party favours, as they are the last thing to make an impression on your guests.

Phoebe’s Grandma’s Cookies

I know these have already been mentioned in the food menu section already. I do think it’s worth including them as an option for a party favour, just in case you decide you don’t want them as part of your dessert table… besides, I just love the way they look when wrapped up.

You can wrap up the cookies in a brown paper bag, sealed with a Central Perk logo sticker. Inside the bag you can include the ‘secret recipe’ with a note thanking your guests for coming to your party.

Crap Bag

I’ve written a post on creating your very own ‘crap bag’ full of Friends themed goodies. You’ll be glad to learn that it’s a lot shorter than this one! I made a crap bag for my Fiancé’s birthday as he’s slightly obsessed with the show. You can read it here to steal some ideas.

I prefer the lavender coloured bag and yellow spy hole tag designs instead of going down the route of brown bags with ‘crap’ emoji’s as I think it looks unsightly – but this is totally your call.

Here are a list of budget friendly ideas you can include in your crap bag:

  • ‘We were on a break’ Kit Kat
  • Lottery ticket (from when the gang pitched in to buy lottery tickets)
  • Lobster keyring
  • Mini magna doodle – I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them in the pound shop
  • I love NY t shirt or badge
  • Recipe for Monica’s Mockolate
  • Faux massage voucher from your beauty therapist Phoebe
  • Toblerone
  • Toy dinosaur figures
  • Teeth whitener
  • Mentos (during an interview when Joey got confused with mentos and mentor)
  • Coffee sachet
  • London Union Jack fridge magnet or hat
  • Sneeze muffin
  • Magic 8 ball

If you are looking for a different option to a crap bag then I love the idea of guests taking home a ‘dino bag’ instead of a traditional ‘doggy bag’ and it has a fun link to Ross’ palaeontology career.

Coffee Mug

Both Friends merchandise coffee mugs, or custom made coffee mugs can make a perfect going home present. It depends on your budget and your preference to personalised party favours.

You can customise the mugs before the party with character names, short quotes from the show or even a personalised message such as ‘the one during lock-down’.

Or you can even create a craft station at your party where guests can personalise their own coffee mugs by leaving out some sharpie marker pens and stencils. Who knew coffee mugs were so versatile!

I think a gift relating to either coffee or Central Perk is an ideal way to end your party, considering in the finale the gang are heading for one last cup of coffee!

Here’s a little fun fact about the Season 10 finale. The set of Central Perk was actually torn down so that the crew could build the airport where Rachel and Ross say goodbye in the final episode. So, in the final scene, when Rachel asks if they want to get one last coffee, and Chandler asks ‘Where?’ this was actually sincere, since there was nowhere for them to go!

After all of this reading, you must be feeling ‘bamboozled’… I realise I headed this up as 8 easy steps but I believe no detail should be spared. Now ask yourself, could you BE anymore prepared?
